At Wellington North, we take tremendous pride in the care of our facilities. Our team works hard to maintain and improve the condition of our stables, riding arenas, paddocks and grounds everyday.
The stables are well insulated with high ceilings and ventilation fans. This helps to maximize the air quality, while minimizing the effects of heat and insects. Our stall fronts allow horses to extend their heads into the aisle, so they can socialize with other horses and people. Stalls are equipped with "ComfortStall" mat systems to ensure that your horse rests well.
Our indoor and outdoor riding arenas have well maintained GGT footing. This dust free combination of fibres and silica sand helps to protect your horses joints and ligaments. The indoor arena is equipped with mirrors and large sliding windows to let the fresh air in during the summer months. The viewing lounge is heated, with comfortable seating, free wifi and the kitchenette is stocked with complimentary beverages.
Our paddocks are very safe, with four rail fencing and topped with electric rope. All paddocks are well maintained with a good seeding and parasite control program. Fresh water is available all year round and some paddocks have run in shelters.
There are also a few dirt recovery paddocks available for those who require them.
For you and your horse’s safety, our facility has 24/7 video surveillance. We have an automated (punch code) front gate system and have staff housing on the premise. In case of an emergency, our property is conveniently neighboured beside the Milton Equine Hospital.
