A Fundraiser Clinic with Tom Dvorak
On August 19th, Wellington North Equestrian is proud to host a 2023 PanAm Games fundraiser event for the Canadian Dressage Team.
Tom Dvorak, a two-time PanAm team silver medalist, is donating his time and expertise to a riding clinic. We invite applications from across all training levels. (The application closing date is August 4th, 2023 and the roster for the clinic will be announced August 7th, 2023)
The event will also offer a limited number of auditor spots with lunch included. Great items will be raffled off during the day.
The 2023 PanAm Games in Santiago, Chile is a very important competition for our international riders. In order to send riders to the 2024 Olympics, we must have a team placing of Gold or Silver at the PanAms.
Why do we need to fundraise? Equestrian Canada, our national federation, receives partial funding for the PanAm Games through the generous support from the Canadian Olympic Committee, but as all costs have escalated the overall funding for the Dressage Team is short $60,000.
It is our sport, our passion! On August 19th let’s learn, have fun and contribute generously to Team Canada Dressage on their road to Santiago.
